About Hear See Do™
The Realization
Language is not learned by sitting still. It is learned by experiencing it. While teaching English in Japan, I noticed a gap—students could recognize words and complete worksheets, but when it came time to speak, they hesitated. Confidence was missing.
The Method
What if students could hear the language clearly, see it through visuals and story, and do it through movement and real communication? This became the foundation of Hear See Do™—a method that engages the whole learner, not just the mind.
From Idea to Movement
By combining movement, storytelling, and interactive games, students began to change. They weren't just learning English anymore—they were using it, feeling it, and owning it. Confidence followed naturally.
Today
Hear See Do™ has grown into a flexible learning system for children, online learners, adults, and businesses. But the core belief remains: when students feel confident, language follows naturally.

Jonathan Waltho
Founder & Principal Instructor
With over two decades of experience, Jonathan Waltho is redefining how English is taught. Combining performing arts, movement, and communication-based learning, he created Hear See Do™ to help learners build real confidence—not just knowledge. His approach transforms English from a subject into an experience, where students actively engage, express themselves, and grow.
"Kids don't learn English by sitting still. They learn by moving, speaking, and actually using it. That's what we do."
